E' richiesto che l'elenco degli utenti, invece che ha griglia simil vcard, sia piuttosto una vista tabellare, che contenga almeno username e fullname.
Direi di utilizzare una datatables con la ricerca e il caricamento ajax, visto che in determinati contesti ci sono anche 2000 utenti.
